How to enable cookies on your browser for:

Internet Explorer 7.0

  1. Click on the Tools popup-menu in Internet Explorer.
  2. Click on the Internet Options item in the menu - a new window opens.
  3. Click on the Privacy tab near the top of the window.
  4. Click on the Sites button - another window opens.
  5. Enter buildabear.com in the text field and then click Allow. Buildabear.com will appear in the "Managed webistes" list below with a Setting of Allowed
  6. Save changes by clicking Ok

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click on the Tools-menu in Mozilla
  2. Click on the Options... item in the menu - a new window opens
  3. Click on the Privacy selection in the left part of the window. (See image below)
  4. Expand the Cookies section.
  5. Check the Enable cookies and Accept cookies normally checkboxes.
  6. Save changes by clicking Ok

Safari

  1. Click on the Safari-menu in Safari
  2. Click on the Preferences... item in the menu - a new window opens
  3. Click on the Security icon near the top of the window.
  4. Under Accept Cookies the Always or Only from sites you navigate to must be selected.
  5. Save changes by clicking Ok

Internet Explorer 6.0 for PC
A note to our customers using Internet Explorer 6.0
If you are shopping our website using Internet Explorer 6.0 and having difficulty accessing our website,
please check your privacy settings in your browser and set them to "Medium." If you do not wish to change your
privacy settings and are currently using the "Medium High" or "High" settings, you may choose to override your
current cookie handling practices for individual websites that you specify.
As always, you can place your order by phone at 1-877-789-BEAR (2327).

To change your privacy settings to medium:
Select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu.
Click the "Privacy" tab.
Set the slider to "Medium."
Click "OK."

To override your current cookie handling practices for individual websites:
Select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu.
Click the "Edit" button in the "Override cookie handling for individual websites" section.
This will open the "Per Site Privacy Actions" dialogue box.
Type www.buildabear.com in the "Address of Website" box and click the "Allow" button.
Click the "OK" button, then close the "Per Site Privacy Actions" dialogue box.
Click the "OK" button to close the "Internet Options" dialogue box and apply your
changes.

Internet Explorer 5.0 for PC
Select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu.
Click the "Security" tab.
Click "Custom Level" at the bottom of the window.
Scroll down to "Cookies"
Under "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer," click "Enable."
Click "OK."

Internet Explorer 5.0 for Mac OS9
Select "Preferences" from the "Edit" menu.
Select "Receiving Files."
Select "Cookies."
Select the option "Never ask" under "When receiving cookies."
Click "OK."

Internet Explorer 5.0 for MAC OS10
Select "Preferences" from the "Explorer" menu.
Select "Receiving Files."
Select "Cookies."
Select the option "Never ask" under "When receiving cookies."
Click "OK."

AOL 8.0, Internet Explorer 6.0
Go to "My Computer."
Select "Control Panel."
Select "Internet Options."
Select the "Privacy" tab.
Set the Privacy Slider to "Medium."
Click "OK."

AOL 8.0, Internet Explorer 5.0
Go to "My Computer."
Select "Control Panel."
Select "Internet Options."
Select the "Security" tab.
Click "Custom Level."

Select "Preferences."
Click on "WWW."
Select the "Security" tab.
Click on "Custom Level."
Scroll down to "Cookies" and select "Enable."

Older Mozilla versions:
Click on the "Edit"-menu in Mozilla. Click on the "Preferences..." item in the menu - a new window opens
Expand the "Privacy & Security" selection in the left part of the window.
Click on the "Cookies" selection.
Check the "Enable all cookies" checkbox.
Save changes by clicking Ok

Netscape Navigator/Communicator 7.1:
Select "Preferences" from the "Edit" menu.
Select "Advanced" from the left-hand menu.
Select "Accept All Cookies."
Click "OK."
